Fourth Factor Engineering comes from our philosophy that adding the human factor of experience throughout the entire process of systems safety starting with from inception. Far too often, safety engineers are assigned to prove that an existing, completed design is safe rather than actually influencing the design. We believe that having a systems safety expert properly trained and involved from the projects inception is the key to long term sustained safety and overall cost savings.
